answer to the demanding requirements of contemporary
markets in regard to efficiency, noise level, dust emission, serviceability and maintenance cost.
The RAVO 5–series is the most important sweeper within
RAVO’s wide assortment.
Although successful, it should have been updated already
some time ago design wise as well as technically, on top of
which the cost price should be decreased as well.
WeLL Design has been responsible for the design as well as
the Basic engineering of the roof and body panels.
WeLL Design has been able to convince RAVO of the
advantages of plastic body paneling in comparison with
sheet metal which resulted in a much more dynamic and
smooth Design.
Beside these advantages the machine has become less noisy
more reliable and as a result of a more efficient assembly
process the cost price has gone down considerably.
The geometry of the new design was set up in such a way
that the tail lights were better protected and that the new
high (STH) and low(ST) bodies both align perfectly with the
cabin roof a feature that did not exist in the old version.
The project has been realized within 6 month time in close cooperation with RAVO’s own development department.
The new 5-series will brighten up many cities all over the World with their Fresh, contemporary and rust free exterior.
