MDS Global: BEVYZ beautiful beverages
The founders of MDS Global had a visionary idea in mind when they approached WeLL Design – developer of the Senseo coffee machine – in 2003. They challenged us to develop and build a patentable automatic drinks system for the office market, using single-portion concentrate capsules to dispense a wide range of hot, cold and carbonated beverages.
To convince investors that the system was feasible, we began by building a working model. With the concept proven, we were given the green light to proceed with development of the equipment and drink capsules. WeLL Design built and tested prototypes, before going on to oversee the implementation of production in China. The BEVYZ system was launched internationally at vending show Avex 2007, with the Dutch introduction following at Horecava 2008.
