Velopa: Articlean waste bin
To strengthen its position in the market for street furniture, Velopa decided to develop an easy-to-empty and vandalproof waste bin.
The result, Articlean, has became a familiar sight in many towns. As well as ergonomic emptying, the development priorities included resistance to vandal attack and flexibility of positioning. These have become the product’s USPs, along with a choice of easy emptying methods, an optional cover to inhibit odours and a wide variety of colours.
