Banksys (Atos Origin): C-ZAM Xenta countertop POS terminal
The C-ZAM Xenta is a point-of-sale terminal designed to process large numbers of payments in the punishing supermarket environment. It complies with all international security requirements for electronic payment by credit and debit card, including chip and PIN, and has been developed in accordance with relevant disability access guidelines.
The “cube” form was suggested by WeLL Design as a way of distancing the product from the purely functional styling of existing terminals, instead bringing it as close as possible to modern store design. At the same time, the raised side panels assure maximum user privacy.
The result is an instantly recognisable device, which comes with an optional separate printer and cashier unit. Thanks to its clear layout, excellent interface and large illuminated keys, the product perfectly suits all types of user.
WeLL Design has developed Banksys’ POS terminals for the past 15 years, from overall styling to the detailed technical design of all components other than the basic electronic hardware.

Banksys (Atos Origin): Xentissimo - mobile payment terminal
The Xentissimo from Banksys is the worlds smallest mobile payment terminal. Its compact and distinctive design was made possible by the use of an innovative fold-out screen, which has been patented.
Large backlit keys, a clear display and accessible card slots make for very easy use. Add to that the latest technological features and handy accessories like a belt clip, cradle, wall mount and car adaptor and the Xentissimo really does become the complete solution for all mobile card transactions.
WeLL Design was responsible for the design and engineering of the plastic casing, whilst overall development was carried out in close co-operation with the R&D Department at Banksys.
The Xentissimo won first prize in the Most Innovative Terminal Solution category at the 2005 European Payments Consulting Association (EPCA) Awards.
